Senior Fit Out Estimator

Tripod Global is looking for an experienced Fit-Out Estimator to join our growing team in Dubai. If you have a strong background in interior fit-out and MEP estimation, excellent commercial awareness, and the ability to prepare accurate and competitive cost estimates, we would like to hear from you. Key Responsibilities · Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates for interior fit-out projects across retail, commercial and hospitality sectors. · Prepare and develop Bills of Quantities (BoQs), cost breakdowns and structured work packages during the tendering and pre-construction stages. · Review and analyse tender documentation, architectural and construction drawings, specifications and project requirements to establish accurate project costs. · Obtain, review and evaluate quotations from subcontractors, suppliers and specialist contractors to ensure competitive pricing. · Conduct site visits and assessments to understand project conditions, scope of work and potential cost implications. · Identify opportunities for value engineering, alternative materials and cost optimisation without compromising quality or project specifications. · Prepare comprehensive tender submissions, commercial proposals, cost comparisons and supporting documentation. · Liaise with clients, consultants, suppliers, subcontractors and internal departments throughout the tendering and bidding process. · Identify scope gaps, discrepancies, exclusions and commercial risks within tender documents and highlight potential cost implications. · Maintain and update cost databases, supplier rates and historical project costing information. · Support negotiations with suppliers and subcontractors to achieve commercially competitive rates. · Ensure a structured handover of awarded projects from the estimation and pre-construction stage to the project execution team, including all relevant cost breakdowns, assumptions and clarifications. Qualifications & Experience · Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Quantity Surveying, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management or a related discipline. Hands-on experience in preparing Bills of Quantities (BoQs), detailed cost estimates, rate analysis and commercial tender submissions. · Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in estimation and costing within the interior fit-out, joinery or construction industry. · Strong understanding of retail, commercial and hospitality fit-out projects, including bespoke joinery and interior finishes. · Proficiency in reading and interpreting architectural, structural and MEP drawings, specifications and tender documentation. · Good knowledge of construction materials, joinery, finishes, hardware, installation methods and associated costs. · Experience in obtaining and evaluating subcontractor and supplier quotations and negotiating competitive rates. · Strong analytical, numerical and commercial skills, with excellent attention to detail. · Good communication, coordination and negotiation skills. · Ability to manage multiple tenders, meet submission deadlines and work effectively under pressure. · Previous experience in the UAE or GCC fit-out market would be an advantage.
