Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pharmacist role based in Cairo. The Pharmacist will dispense prescription and over-the-counter medications accurately, counsel patients on proper medication use, and provide guidance on health and wellness products. Daily tasks include reviewing prescriptions for appropriateness, checking for potential drug interactions, and maintaining accurate patient and inventory records. The role involves collaborating with pharmacy assistants and other healthcare professionals, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal policies, and supporting quality control and safety procedures. The Pharmacist is also expected to contribute to a positive customer experience by responding to questions, addressing concerns, and promoting preventive healthcare and wellness services. Qualifications Strong knowledge of pharmacology, therapeutics, and drug interactions, with the ability to review and verify prescriptions accurately. Skills in patient counseling, clear communication, and the ability to explain medication instructions and health information in an accessible way. Attention to detail, organization, and reliability in managing records, inventory, and documentation in a busy pharmacy environment. Capability to work collaboratively with colleagues and healthcare providers, while maintaining professional ethics and confidentiality. Proficiency with pharmacy management systems or related software, and comfort working with digital records and basic office tools. Ability to remain calm, respectful, and solutions-focused when serving diverse customers and handling urgent or sensitive situations. Bachelor’s degree in Pharmacy (or equivalent), with valid registration and licensing according to local regulatory requirements.
