Senior Software Quality Assurance Engineer

Summary Seeking a Senior Software QA Engineer with 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance and Testing. The candidate should have strong expertise in Manual Testing, API Testing, and hands-on experience with Playwright automation using TypeScript/JavaScript. Must be capable of designing comprehensive test scenarios, managing defects, reviewing automation scripts, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring software quality throughout the SDLC/STLC. ISTQB Foundation certification is required. Experience: 5+ years of experience in Software Quality Assurance / Software Testing. Strong experience in Manual Testing, including functional, regression, integration, system, smoke, sanity, and exploratory testing. Strong experience in API Testing, including REST APIs and Web Services. Strong experience in defect reporting, investigation, retesting, and root-cause analysis. Hands-on experience with Postman, Swagger/OpenAPI, or similar API testing tools. Experience with defect/project management tools such as Jira. Requirements: Strong ability to analyze business and technical requirements and identify missing requirements, risks, and edge cases. Ability to design comprehensive test scenarios and test cases, covering positive, negative, boundary, and edge cases. Good understanding of HTTP methods, status codes, headers, authentication, JSON/XML, and API request/response validation. Good hands-on knowledge of Playwright automation using TypeScript/JavaScript. Ability to review test cases and automation code created by other QA engineers. Ability to create, maintain, and troubleshoot automated test scripts and understand automation framework structure.
