About the Role: We are a fully licensed and growing bunker trading company based in Dubai. To drive our strategic expansion, we are seeking an ambitious, highly connected, and result-driven Senior Bunker Trader to play a key role in building and scaling our trading desk. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced trader with an established global network of shipowners, charterers, operators, and bunker suppliers who is ready to leverage their expertise and drive profitable trading operations. Key Responsibilities: 🎯 Business Development: Onboard new clients, expand market share, and build long-term relationships with shipowners, charterers, and operators. 🚢 Trading & Execution: Source competitive bunker offers, negotiate pricing and credit terms, and manage the end-to-end trading process from quotation to delivery. 💳 Risk & Portfolio Management: Assess credit risks, monitor market trends, and ensure timely payment collections and risk mitigation. 📈 Desk Growth: Work independently to build, diversify, and manage a high-performing bunker trading portfolio. Requirements & Qualifications: 💼 Experience: 5+ years of proven track record in bunker trading or marine fuel brokerage. 🌐 Network: Strong, active network of client relationships (shipowners/operators) and reliable global supplier contacts. 📊 Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of marine fuel specifications (ISO standards), international shipping regulations, bunker pricing dynamics, and credit risk assessment. 🤝 Deal Closing: Demonstrated track record of generating consistent trading volume and profit margins. 🚀 Mindset: Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and capable of operating independently to establish a new trading desk.
