Lead the design, development, testing, and optimization of thermal systems and related engineering solutions. Oversee projects involving heat transfer, thermodynamics, cooling systems, heating equipment, and thermal management technologies. Evaluate system performance and identify opportunities to improve energy efficiency, reliability, and operational effectiveness. Guide engineering teams in thermal modeling, simulation, prototype development, and performance testing. Establish engineering standards, technical specifications, and design guidelines for thermal system development. Oversee technical feasibility studies, engineering calculations, and system performance assessments. Collaborate with mechanical, electrical, manufacturing, and product development teams to ensure effective system integration. Manage engineering projects, budgets, schedules, and technical resources. Review engineering designs, test results, technical reports, and project documentation. Identify and resolve complex thermal engineering challenges through systematic analysis and testing. Ensure thermal systems comply with applicable safety requirements, industry standards, and environmental regulations. Evaluate new materials, technologies, and engineering methods to improve thermal performance and product innovation. Build relationships with suppliers, technical consultants, research institutions, and industry partners. Lead, mentor, and develop engineering teams while promoting technical excellence and continuous improvement. Present engineering performance updates, project outcomes, and strategic recommendations to senior leadership. ✅ Requirements Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering, Energy Engineering, or a related technical field; a master's degree or doctorate is an advantage. Extensive experience in thermal systems engineering, mechanical design, thermal management, or a related engineering discipline. Proven leadership experience managing engineering teams and complex technical projects. Strong understanding of thermodynamics, heat transfer, fluid mechanics, and thermal system design. Experience with thermal modeling, simulation tools, engineering calculations, and performance testing. Familiarity with relevant CAD, computational fluid dynamics (CFD), or engineering simulation software. Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and technical decision-making skills. Knowledge of energy efficiency, system reliability, and applicable engineering safety standards. Excellent project management, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
