Technical Manager

We are seeking an experienced and rigorous Technical Manager to oversee technical coordination, engineering review, value engineering and quality assurance across projects of Qatari Diar Egypt. The Technical Manager should have: Bachelor's degree in engineering, architecture or construction management. PMP certification, preferable. 10+ years of progressive experience in technical engineering and management with reputed regional developer while managing technical delivery of large-scale development. Should have in-depth knowledge of Egyptian engineering codes, international standard specifications, building systems and software. Should be able to multi-task and handle multiple projects with varying complexity. Job Responsibilities: Technical Review and Design Coordination:Directing multi-disciplinary design and engineering reviews (Architectural, Structural, MEP, Infrastructure) during pre-construction and execution phases. Consultant & Contractor Oversight: Supervising engineering consultants, technical specialists, and main contractors to resolving technical queries, approving shop drawings, and verifying material submissions. Value Engineering & Constructability: Performing constructability reviews and value engineering studies to optimize project costs, material selection, and construction schedules without compromising on quality standards. Tender & Contract Assistance: Preparing and revieing technical specifications, scope of work, and technical evaluation matrices for main construction and specialist subcontractor tenders. Quality Assurance & Code Compliance: Ensuring site works adhere strictly to approved technical submittals, Egyptian statutory regulations, local building codes and quality standards. Site Technical Support: Conducting regular site inspections, resolving field engineering issues, and liaise with site supervision consultants to maintain momentum and structural integrity.
