Head of Category

Our client is looking for a Category Head to lead category management, buying, and planning across a retail portfolio, applying a landlord-tenant mindset to drive revenue from assigned category space. This is a senior commercial role for a numerically and commercially strong leader with a strong track record in organised, multi-brand retail category management. What You Will Do In this role, you will: Own and manage category management, buying and planning for the assigned category. Treat the category as a tenant in the store, generating revenue for the space (landlord-tenant mindset). Manage numerical and commercial aspects of product range and assortment. Own full category responsibility including P&L and category width, not just vendor management. Manage the retail category journey end-to-end. What We Are Looking For We are looking for someone who: Has a minimum of 10 to 11 years of experience Strong category management, buying and planning experience Numerically and commercially strong Strong commercial acumen and decision-making skills Experience managing product range and assortment Background in organised retail category management, multi-brand environment Experience with full category ownership including P&L, not vendor management Experience in a category such as apparel, fashion retail, general merchandise, luggage/bags, homeware, fragrances, stationery, or supermarkets Role Details Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia Show more Show less
