Logistics Lead

Key Responsibilities: Manage inventory as well as warehouse, transportation, and other logistics processes Develop new strategies to streamline processes and reduce cost Ensure that quality, quantity, customer satisfaction, and financial commitments are met Reduces logistics/customs cost via selection of new carriers and proper duty classification. Direct, optimize and coordinate full order cycle. Liaise and negotiate with suppliers, manufacturers, retailers and consumers. Resolve any arising problems or complaints. Meet cost, productivity, accuracy and timeliness targets. Maintain metrics and analyze data to assess performance and implement improvements. Comply with laws, regulations and requirements. Assess and recommend ideal shipping methods, routing or carries to meet necessary parameters, specifications and costs. Manage and develop logistics staff Academic and professional qualifications: Bachelor degree in any Discipline from a recognized university. A minimum of 4-7 years of experience in food industry (Fresh and Frozen food is preferred). Experience: A minimum of 4 - 7 years of experience. Show more Show less
