Senior Product Designer Company: estaie Employment type: Full-time Location: Egypt; MENA time-zone alignment preferred Reports to: Chief Product Officer About estaie estaie is building an AI-native extended-stay platform for stays of 15 to 365 nights. We connect hotels, serviced apartments, and managed homes through intelligent pricing, trust, and distribution infrastructure. We’re building more than a booking site: we’re creating the intelligence layer guests, hosts, and partners rely on throughout an extended stay—from search and pricing to booking and checkout. About the role As Senior Product Designer, you’ll lead product design across web, mobile, and AI interfaces. You’ll bring a builder mindset, moving quickly from insight to testable, AI-assisted prototypes. You’ll turn complex data and AI behaviours into clear, human-centred interactions. Working closely with engineering, design, partnerships, sales, and AI teams, you’ll shape the experience across search, booking, AI conversations, pricing explanations, and partner dashboards. Responsibilities Product design leadership * Own end-to-end consumer UX for estaie’s current build phase, including trust signals, monthly pricing clarity, checkout, search, and results. * Translate AI logic—including pricing models, personalisation, and predictions—into clear, explainable interfaces. AI-driven experience design * Use AI tools daily to accelerate research synthesis, explore design patterns, and build functional prototypes for testing and validation. * Design AI interactions for booking, explainable pricing, and lead-generation agents. * Create UX patterns for autonomous operations, such as smart stay extensions, dynamic pricing updates, and chat-based booking. * Work with data and AI engineers to present recommendations, confidence levels, and predictions clearly. Collaboration and execution * Work within a two-track sprint model: respond to build-sprint questions and changes while leading discovery and definition. * Partner with full-stack developers on implementation and design quality assurance. * Co-own quality assurance for AI-assisted output with the UI associate, including guidance on prompts, references, and constraints used in AI tools. * Conduct lean usability testing and analyse behavioural data. Design system and accessibility * Maintain a unified, scalable design system across platforms. * Take ownership of estaie’s design language using Tailwind and shadcn/ui. * Ensure designs meet WCAG accessibility standards, adapt to different screen sizes, and support localisation for the UAE, KSA, UK, and EU. Nice to have * Familiarity with AI design principles, including prompt UX, conversational UX, and explainable AI. * Experience with hospitality, travel, or proptech products and design systems. * Understanding of data visualisation and information hierarchy for analytics dashboards. * Experience with Microsoft Clarity or similar behavioural tracking tools, and Airtable. What we offer * Monthly salary of USD 2,000 * Fully remote work * Collaboration during Dubai working hours (UAE time) * Insurance and equity * The opportunity to shape AI-native infrastructure for extended stays * A collaborative environment across engineering, partnerships, sales, and AI teams * An equity-forward compensation structure tied to the company’s growth Who will thrive here You thrive in ambiguity and move quickly. You take complex design problems from discovery to delivery, rather than waiting for a finished brief. Your portfolio shows your process as well as the final work, and you can share specific examples of how AI tools have changed your workflow. You’re comfortable sharing work early, raising risks and blockers with proposed solutions, and collaborating with teams across engineering, marketing, and sales. You’re interested in the equity-forward opportunity and understand that the base compensation is modest and intentional at this stage. Show more Show less
