Enterprise Architect (EA) / Solution Architect – Banking Sector

Contract Type: Project-Based Contract Contract Duration: 6 Months Industry: Banking & Financial Services COBIT Certification: Mandatory Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Enterprise Architect (EA) or Solution Architect with proven banking sector experience and COBIT certification to support a strategic, six-month project-based engagement. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in banking technology, enterprise architecture, solution design, and IT governance, ensuring that technology solutions align with business objectives, regulatory requirements, security standards, and industry best practices. Key Responsibilities Develop and review enterprise and solution architecture aligned with the bank's business and technology strategy. Assess existing banking systems and define target-state architecture and technology roadmaps. Apply COBIT principles to strengthen IT governance, risk management, controls, and compliance. Design and evaluate banking technology solutions, system integrations, and application architectures. Ensure alignment with banking regulations, information security policies, and applicable compliance requirements. Collaborate with business stakeholders, IT teams, cybersecurity, risk, and compliance departments. Support the integration and modernization of core banking systems, digital banking platforms, payment systems, and related applications. Prepare architecture documentation, solution designs, technical assessments, and recommendations. Conduct architecture reviews and ensure solutions meet scalability, availability, security, and performance requirements. Qualifications and Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related discipline. Proven experience as an Enterprise Architect, Solution Architect, or in a similar architecture role. Mandatory COBIT certification. Mandatory experience in the banking or financial services sector. Strong understanding of banking systems, enterprise applications, system integration, and IT infrastructure. Knowledge of IT governance, operational risk, regulatory compliance, and information security. Experience with digital banking, core banking platforms, payment systems, or banking transformation projects is an advantage. Excellent stakeholder management, analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
