Yard Checker – Container Terminal & Depot Stax Logistics | Jeddah, Saudi Arabia | Full-time | On-site Company Description Stax Logistics is a Saudi-based container terminal and logistics company specializing in container storage and handling, empty and laden container operations, reefer services, and related terminal services. Role Description We are looking for an experienced Yard Checker to conduct physical inspections of containers entering, leaving, and moving within our container terminal. The role involves checking container identification numbers, inspecting container conditions, documenting damages, verifying container locations, and ensuring all inspection and movement records are accurately updated in the terminal system. Qualifications Minimum 2 years of direct experience in container terminals, container depots, or Empty Container Depots (ECDs) is mandatory. Hands-on experience inspecting shipping containers and identifying damages. Knowledge of container identification numbers, ISO container types, and sizes (20ft, 40ft, and reefer). Experience conducting container condition inspections and preparing damage reports. Familiarity with EIR (Equipment Interchange Receipt) procedures and container inspection standards. Ability to accurately record container movements, conditions, and yard locations. Familiarity with YMS/TOS or container inventory systems. Strong attention to detail, communication, and reporting skills. Ability to work outdoors and in a fast-paced terminal environment. Important – Mandatory Experience This position is exclusively for candidates with direct experience in container terminals or container depots. Candidates with experience limited to general logistics, freight forwarding, transportation, or warehousing will NOT be considered.
