Sr. Proposal Engineer - Consulting

Role Description The Sr. Proposal Engineer - Consulting is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Maadi. This position is responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering high-quality technical and commercial proposals for engineering and consulting projects, particularly in the energy and infrastructure sectors. Day-to-day tasks include analyzing client requirements, collaborating with engineering, sales, and procurement teams, and preparing detailed proposal documents that align with company standards and client expectations. The role involves creating cost estimates, defining technical scopes, ensuring compliance with tender specifications, and supporting negotiations with clients and partners. The Sr. Proposal Engineer is also expected to maintain proposal templates and best practices, contribute to continuous improvement of the bidding process, and support business development activities as needed. Qualifications: Demonstrated ability in proposal preparation and proposal writing for engineering or consulting projects. Strong background in Civil or Architectural engineering or a closely related engineering discipline. Experience collaborating with sales teams on bids, client presentations, and business development initiatives. Exposure to procurement processes, including coordination with suppliers and understanding of cost structures. Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Architectural Engineering or an equivalent technical field; advanced degree is an advantage. Proficiency in MS Office and relevant engineering/proposal tools; strong skills in document formatting and data analysis. Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English; ability to present complex information clearly and concisely. Proven organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to handle multiple proposals and deadlines.
