On November 23, 2022, the Financial Regulatory Authority granted Misr Life Insurance – Takaful a license to provide life and long-term medical insurance compliant with Islamic Sharia principles. This recognition positions the company as a trusted and certified provider in Egypt’s insurance landscape. Role Description The Insurance Advisor is a full-time, on-site role based in Alexandria, Egypt. The Insurance Advisor will guide prospective and existing clients in selecting suitable life and takaful insurance products, ensuring that solutions align with their financial goals and Sharia-compliant preferences. Daily responsibilities include conducting client consultations, assessing needs and risk profiles, presenting tailored insurance plans, and explaining policy terms and coverage options clearly. The role involves maintaining ongoing customer relationships, responding to inquiries, handling policy updates, and supporting clients through claims processes. The Insurance Advisor will also collaborate with internal teams, contribute to business development activities, and stay updated on company offerings and regulatory requirements. Qualifications Strong knowledge and practical understanding of Insurance and Takaful products. Foundational awareness of Finance principles, including personal and risk-based financial planning. Ability to provide structured Consulting support to clients, offering clear recommendations and solutions. Proven Customer Service skills, with a focus on responsiveness, empathy, and client retention. Effective Communication skills, including clear verbal explanation and professional written correspondence. Relevant bachelor’s degree (e.g., Business, Finance, Economics, or related field) or equivalent professional experience. Comfort working in an on-site, client-facing environment in Alexandria, Egypt. Attention to detail, integrity, and adherence to Islamic Sharia–compliant practices in insurance. Prior experience in insurance advisory, banking, or financial services is an advantage.
