Manager - Asset Management & Financial Data Analytics

As a Manager – Asset Management & Financial Data Analytics in ZMI, you are mainly responsible for overseeing asset performance, financial analytics, business intelligence, forecasting, and strategic planning to optimize capital allocation and maximize shareholder value. You will act as a key business partner to senior leadership, transforming financial and operational data into actionable insights to support strategic and commercial decisions. The role involves managing the financial performance of drydocking programs, vessel maintenance, ship management operations, plant maintenance expenditures, and long-term asset lifecycle planning. Through advanced financial modelling, analytics, and digital reporting tools, you will drive data-driven decision-making, enhance portfolio performance, and support continuous improvement across the Group. Key Responsibilities: Asset Management & Performance Optimization Monitor and analyze financial and operational performance of group assets and business units. Develop asset-level dashboards and KPIs to measure profitability, utilization, return on invested capital (ROIC), cash generation, and operational efficiency. Conduct performance reviews and recommend actions to maximize asset value and returns. Support investment evaluations, acquisitions, divestitures, and capital allocation decisions. Lead asset valuation exercises and scenario analyses to support strategic decision-making. Financial Planning & Analysis Support annual budgeting, long-range planning, forecasting, and business performance reviews. Analyze variances between actual, budget, and forecast performance. Develop driver-based financial models to forecast revenues, costs, EBITDA, cash flow, and returns. Prepare executive presentations and business cases for senior management and shareholders. Partner with operational and commercial teams to improve financial performance. Financial Data Analytics & Business Intelligence Design and maintain advanced analytics dashboards using Power BI and other visualization tools. Automate reporting processes and improve data quality across multiple systems. Build predictive and prescriptive analytics models to identify business risks and opportunities. Develop analytical frameworks for revenue optimization, cost management, and capital efficiency. Integrate financial, operational, and market data into meaningful business insights. Strategic Decision Support Provide analytical support for strategic initiatives and transformation projects. Perform sensitivity analysis, scenario planning, and risk assessments. Support management in evaluating growth opportunities and investment priorities. Identify trends, emerging risks, and performance improvement opportunities. Governance & Data Management Establish data governance standards and maintain integrity of financial information. Drive continuous improvement in reporting processes, data architecture, and analytical capabilities. Collaborate with IT, Finance, Commercial, and Operational teams to improve data accessibility and reporting efficiency. Ensure compliance with corporate governance and financial policies. Minimum Qualifications and Experience: 7-10 years of progressive experience in FP&A, Corporate Finance, Asset Management, Business Intelligence, or Financial Analytics. Experience within holding companies, financial institutions, infrastructure, maritime, oil & gas, industrial, or investment organizations is highly desirable. Strong experience in financial modelling, budgeting, forecasting, and performance management. Proven experience in developing executive dashboards and business intelligence solutions. Technical Skills: Advanced financial modelling and valuation techniques. Budgeting, forecasting, and strategic planning. Scenario and sensitivity analysis. Expert proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Power BI. Strong SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics, or ERP experience. Knowledge of SQL, Power Query, Power Pivot, and data warehouse concepts.
