Routing & Operations Lead – A2P Messaging

Responsibilities · Own daily routing and operational performance. · Manage routing configuration, traffic distribution, and optimization. · Monitor delivery rates, latency, failures, filtering, and route performance. · Test and evaluate routes and suppliers. · Coordinate technical and delivery issues with internal teams and external partners. · Work with Business Development on supplier onboarding and route evaluation. · Work with Account Management on customer traffic, incidents, and service quality. · Investigate delivery degradation and abnormal traffic patterns. · Recommend changes based on quality, cost, capacity, and profitability. · Establish testing, monitoring, escalation, and incident-management procedures. · Maintain operational documentation and support onboarding and activation. · Monitor fraud, abuse, and unusual activity. · Prepare operational reports and improve tools, dashboards, and processes. Requirements · 5+ years of experience in A2P routing, messaging operations, telecom, or SMS wholesale. · Working knowledge of SMPP, APIs, DLRs, and messaging platforms. · Experience with route testing, traffic monitoring, and supplier management. · Strong understanding of delivery performance and filtering. · Analytical troubleshooting and incident-management skills. · Ability to coordinate across technical, commercial, and operational teams. · Understanding of routing cost, quality, and profitability. · Fluent English and strong ownership mindset. Preferred Qualifications · Experience with routing engines, monitoring platforms, SMPP, or operational dashboards. · Exposure to fraud, artificial traffic, or abuse detection. · Experience managing multiple suppliers and connectivity types. · Familiarity with cloud systems, APIs, databases, or reporting tools.
