Data Centers Design & Execution Manager

About the Role Job Purpose: We are seeking an experienced Data Centers Design & Execution Manager to lead the end-to-end planning, design, construction, and delivery of data center projects. This role will be responsible for managing all aspects of Data Center Design, Construction, MEP (Mechanical, Electrical & Plumbing), Civil Works, and Telecom Infrastructure, ensuring projects are completed on time, within budget, and according to industry best practices and standards. Responsibilities Lead the end-to-end lifecycle of new and expansion Data Center projects, from planning and design through construction, commissioning, and handover. Manage the design and execution of MEP, Civil, and Telecom infrastructure activities for Data Centers and critical network facilities. Develop data center designs aligned with modern industry standards, technologies, and best practices. Prepare project budgets, cost estimates, BOQs, technical specifications, drawings, and tender documentation. Review and validate technical designs, specifications, and deliverables prepared by consultants, vendors, and contractors. Drive project execution while ensuring quality, safety, budget adherence, and timely delivery. Lead contractor and vendor selection processes, including technical evaluations and tender assessments. Monitor construction progress, identify risks, and implement corrective actions to ensure successful project delivery. Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, and technology partners. Review and approve project invoices, variations, and contractor deliverables. Provide regular project updates, progress reports, and executive-level presentations to senior management. Lead, coach, and develop project teams, ensuring effective collaboration and high performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives for data center design, construction, and project delivery processes. Coordinate with internal stakeholders across multiple departments to ensure project alignment with business objectives. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Mechanical Engineering. Minimum 10 years of experience in Data Center Design, Construction, MEP Project Management, or Critical Infrastructure Projects. Required Skills Proven experience managing Data Center Construction and Expansion Projects. Strong knowledge of Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing (MEP), Civil, and Telecom Systems. Experience in project planning, budgeting, tendering, contractor management, and project execution. Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and team development skills. Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and decision-making capabilities. Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and deliver results within tight timelines.
