Job Title: Sea Freight Operator Location: Dubai, UAE Salary: AED 5,000 – 6,000 / month Industry: Freight Forwarding / Logistics Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced and motivated Sea Freight Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Dubai. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in sea freight forwarding within the UAE, possess a solid client portfolio, and demonstrate in-depth knowledge of shipping operations, documentation, and Incoterms. Fluency in spoken and written English is essential. Key Responsibilities: Handle end-to-end sea freight operations including booking, scheduling, and coordination with carriers, shipping lines, and other stakeholders Prepare and manage all relevant shipping documents (e.g., Bill of Lading, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Certificate of Origin, etc.) Coordinate with customs brokers, freight agents, and clients to ensure timely clearance and delivery Maintain strong relationships with existing clients while actively developing new business opportunities from your own portfolio Monitor shipment schedules, resolve operational issues, and ensure all shipments meet compliance and customer requirements Stay updated with industry trends, carrier schedules, freight rates, and local regulations Ensure proper application of Incoterms in all shipments and transactions Liaise with internal departments (Sales, Finance, Customer Service) to ensure seamless operations Requirements: Minimum 3 years of experience in sea freight forwarding operations within Dubai, UAE Existing client portfolio is a must In-depth knowledge of shipping procedures, documentation, and Incoterms Strong organizational and communication skills Fluent in English (spoken and written) Ability to work independently and under pressure in a fast-paced environment Proficient in MS Office and freight forwarding software/tools What We Offer: Competitive salary (AED 5,000 – 6,000 / month) Opportunity to work with a dynamic and growing logistics company Performance-based incentives Supportive work environment with opportunities for growth To Apply: Please send your CV to [redacted email] with the subject line "Application for Sea Freight Operator – Dubai".
