Trade Finance Specialist / Trade Operations Analyst

Role Description The Owner role at Transitioning Military is a part-time, remote position responsible for overseeing the organization’s strategic direction and daily operations. This includes managing online community engagement, responding to messages and support requests, and ensuring that individuals seeking assistance are guided to appropriate resources. The Owner will coordinate outreach efforts, develop partnerships, and maintain the organization’s digital presence across platforms. Day-to-day activities may involve updating informational content, monitoring user registrations, tracking support outcomes, and identifying opportunities to improve services for transitioning military personnel. The role also requires maintaining a positive, inclusive environment and safeguarding confidential information shared by community members. Qualifications Strong leadership and organizational skills, with the ability to set priorities, manage multiple initiatives, and oversee remote operations. Experience in community building or customer support, including responding to inquiries, offering guidance, and maintaining a supportive online environment. Excellent written and verbal communication skills for clear, respectful, and inclusive interactions with transitioning service members and partners. Comfort with using online platforms, social media, and messaging tools to manage registrations, communicate with users, and share resources. Understanding of the unique challenges faced by transitioning military personnel; prior military service or experience working with military communities is beneficial. Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrate sound judgment, and handle sensitive information with discretion.
