Manager - Procurement

JOB PURPOSE Establish and lead the central procurement function for non-trade spend across Saudi, Arabian Gulf, and Egypt, driving cost optimization and annual savings, managing key suppliers, contracts, risks, and aligning procurement strategy with business needs and corporate objectives. Qualifications and Education: ▪ Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field ▪ Proficient in Microsoft Office, with advanced Excel skills ▪ Hands-on experience with SAP or a similar ERP system Experience: ▪ 8-10 years of progressive experience in procurement, with at least 2-5 years in a managerial or team-leadership role ▪ Proven track record of managing indirect spend, establishing a procurement function, and delivering measurable savings ▪ Experience working across multiple countries. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES ▪ Establish the regional procurement department for indirect (non-trade) spend, and drive a procurement strategy aligned with corporate objectives and annual savings targets. ▪ Define and implement procurement policies, SLAs, KPIs and the PR-to-PO process, and train all departments to follow them. ▪ Lead procurement transformation projects, introducing best practices, frameworks and systems such as SAP. ▪ Manage the end-to-end procurement process for all departments and banners, from needs identification to delivery and payment with Finance. ▪ Lead strategic sourcing and tenders across local and international markets, negotiating favorable terms and building strong supplier partnerships. ▪ Develop and implement the contract management process: evaluate supplier agreements and monitor key supplier performance with business partners. ▪ Manage the central procurement budget and spend, including visibility over fixed asset purchases, and lead cross-functional cost-saving initiatives that build a long-term savings culture. ▪ Lead, develop and empower the procurement team, delegating tasks and following up to ensure SLAs are met.
