Geospatial Governance and Policy Head

Key Responsibilities Design the governance model: data custodianship, roles, councils and working groups. Align the programme with national and international geospatial frameworks (UN-GGIM IGIF). Draft the policies, standards and regulatory basis for spatial data sharing. Advise government entities on data-sharing agreements and custodianship. Support the steering committee with governance decisions and reporting. Qualifications 10+ years in spatial data infrastructure (SDI) governance or national geospatial programmes. Data custodianship models and geospatial policy. UN-GGIM IGIF and international SDI good practice. Senior stakeholder engagement in government. A relevant certification (for example GISP) is a plus.
