Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pediatric Occupational Therapist role based in Abu Dhabi at Perfect Balance Rehabilitation Center L.L.C. The Pediatric Occupational Therapist will assess and treat children with a range of developmental, sensory, and functional needs, using evidence-based interventions to support participation in daily activities at home, school, and in the community. Daily responsibilities include conducting evaluations, creating individualized treatment plans, providing one-on-one and small group therapy sessions, and documenting progress in line with clinical and regulatory standards. The role involves close collaboration with families, caregivers, teachers, and other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated care and effective early intervention. The therapist will also contribute to education and guidance for families and schools, support multidisciplinary case discussions, and participate in ongoing professional development to maintain high-quality pediatric services. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Occupational Therapy and Pediatrics, with demonstrated experience working in pediatric rehabilitation or related settings. Candidates should possess skills in Sensory Integration approaches to evaluate and treat sensory processing challenges affecting daily function. Candidates should possess skills in Early Intervention and Working With Children, including partnering with families and schools to support developmental milestones. Relevant academic qualification such as a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution, with current licensure or eligibility for licensure in the UAE. Strong assessment, clinical reasoning, and treatment planning skills, with the ability to use evidence-based practices in pediatric care. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and educators in a culturally diverse environment. Ability to maintain accurate clinical documentation, manage caseloads responsibly, and uphold professional, ethical, and confidentiality standards.
