Role Description The Senior Civil DraftMan – French Speaker is a full-time, on-site role based in Giza. This role is responsible for preparing, updating, and reviewing detailed civil engineering drawings, plans, and layouts in coordination with engineers and project managers. The Senior Civil DraftMan will interpret design specifications, translate conceptual designs into accurate technical drawings, and ensure compliance with relevant standards and project requirements. Daily tasks include using CAD software to produce and revise drawings, coordinating with multidisciplinary teams, and maintaining organized documentation of all design files. The role also involves communicating effectively in French with clients or stakeholders, supporting technical discussions, and contributing to the timely delivery of project documentation. Qualifications Proficiency in Civil Engineering Design and Civil Engineering Drafting, with experience translating engineering concepts into clear plans and layouts. Strong skills in Technical Drawing and Engineering Drawings, including the ability to interpret and produce detailed construction and infrastructure documents. Advanced competency in Computer-Aided Design (CAD) tools relevant to civil engineering drafting (e.g., AutoCAD or similar software). Fluency in French for technical and professional communication, plus strong communication skills in English or Arabic. Solid understanding of civil engineering standards, codes, and best practices, especially for infrastructure and construction projects. Ability to work accurately under time constraints, with strong attention to detail and organized document management. Previous experience in a senior drafting or civil engineering drafting role, preferably within consulting or construction environments. Diploma or degree in Civil Engineering, Drafting, or a related technical field, or equivalent relevant experience. Show more Show less
