The Role Our Audit and Assurance team is growing, and we are looking for a qualified Senior Auditor to join our office in Maadi, Cairo. As a Senior Auditor, you will manage a portfolio of clients from a range of industries, build strong client relationships and work closely with the firm’s partners on every engagement. Your duties will include: Planning and executing external audit engagements in line with Egyptian Standards on Auditing Preparing and reviewing financial statements in line with Egyptian Accounting Standards Evaluating clients’ internal control systems and recommending practical improvements Drafting management letters and audit completion reports Supervising, guiding and reviewing the work of junior audit staff Supporting tax compliance and tax inspection files, including corporate income tax and VAT Making sure engagements are completed on time, within budget and to the firm’s quality standards About You You have at least five years of external audit experience at accounting and audit firms, working with clients of different sizes and industries. You hold a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Accounting major. You have in-depth knowledge of Egyptian Accounting and Auditing Standards and applicable tax legislation. You are highly proficient in Microsoft Excel and other Microsoft Office applications, and experienced with accounting software. Sound judgment, critical thinking and strong analytical skills allow you to deliver high-quality audits. You are well organized and able to manage several engagements and deadlines at the same time. You lead by example and enjoy mentoring and developing junior team members. A professional qualification (CPA, ACCA or ESAA fellowship), completed or in progress, is a strong advantage.
