Accounting Specialist

Accountant Doha, Qatar · Full-time · On-site First Marble & Granite is a natural stone manufacturing, fabrication and installation company operating in Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Our 300+ hospitality and commercial projects include Katara Towers, Rosewood and Waldorf Astoria. We are looking for an experienced, detail-oriented accountant to join our team as soon as possible. Responsibilities Prepare financial statements and reports Maintain accurate financial records and reconciliations Handle accounts payable and receivable Support progress billing, including retention, advance recovery and payment certificates Track costs by project and assist with budgeting and financial analysis Monitor transactions and follow up on discrepancies Support tax compliance and audits Work with internal teams to support daily financial operations Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field At least 5 years of accounting experience Strong financial reporting and analytical skills Advanced Excel skills and experience with accounting software Based in Qatar with a valid QID and transferable visa Able to work on-site in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail Preferred Construction or contracting experience GCC experience Arabic speaker CPA, CMA or similar certification Experience with Peachtree / Sage 50 Immediate start preferred.
