Role Description The Senior Relationship Manager, Crypto Banking, is a full-time, on-site role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. This role focuses on developing, managing, and growing a portfolio of crypto-focused and digitally native clients, including individuals, startups, and institutional investors. Day-to-day responsibilities include identifying and onboarding new clients, deepening existing relationships, understanding complex cross-border and digital asset needs, and providing tailored banking and payment solutions. The Senior Relationship Manager will coordinate with product, compliance, risk, and operations teams to ensure smooth onboarding, robust KYC/AML controls, and high standards of service. The role involves monitoring client activity, preparing proposals and presentations, handling escalations, and representing Monfi at industry events and client meetings to strengthen market presence in the crypto and digital asset ecosystem. Qualifications Client relationship and account management skills, including portfolio management, stakeholder engagement, and consultative selling in banking or financial services. Experience with digital assets, crypto banking, or fintech solutions, including understanding of blockchain concepts, exchanges, custodians, and crypto-related payment flows. Strong knowledge of cross-border payments, multi-currency accounts, and international banking products relevant to globally connected individuals and businesses. Familiarity with regulatory, compliance, and risk frameworks (KYC, KYB, AML, sanctions) and the ability to work closely with compliance teams to manage complex client profiles. Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills, with the ability to explain complex financial and technical topics in clear, accessible language. Proven track record in business development, including sourcing leads, closing opportunities, and meeting revenue or growth targets in a high-paced environment. Ability to work collaboratively in a multicultural, innovative environment and to coordinate effectively with product, operations, and technology stakeholders. Relevant academic background in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; advanced certifications in banking, fintech, or compliance are an advantage.
