Vice President - Project Delivery

We are seeking a Vice President - Project Delivery to lead our project delivery function and ensure the successful execution of a large portfolio of projects. This senior leader will own delivery performance across time, cost, quality, and safety, while building high-performing teams and driving operational excellence. Key Responsibilities Provide strategic leadership for the end-to-end delivery of the project portfolio, from mobilization through handover Own portfolio-level performance, including schedule, budget, quality, and HSE outcomes Establish and enforce project delivery standards, governance frameworks, and best practices Oversee Project Directors, Senior Project Managers, and delivery teams, setting clear targets and accountability Manage senior-level relationships with clients, consultants, contractors, and key stakeholders Review and mitigate major risks, claims, disputes, and contractual issues Oversee procurement strategy, contract administration, and subcontractor performance Drive cost control, cash flow management, and margin improvement across projects Support bid and tender strategy, including resourcing and delivery planning for new opportunities Report portfolio performance and forecasts to executive management and the board Develop talent, succession plans, and a strong culture of safety and accountability Qualifications and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or a related field; a Master’s degree or MBA is an advantage 20+ years of experience in project delivery, including 10+ years in a senior leadership role Proven track record of delivering large, complex projects [buildings / infrastructure / mixed-use] PMP or equivalent certification (preferred) Strong knowledge of contract management (FIDIC or similar), commercial management, and risk management Experience managing multiple projects, large teams, and significant budgets Excellent leadership, negotiation, and executive communication skills Regional experience is an advantage What We Offer Competitive executive compensation and benefits package Opportunity to lead landmark projects and shape the delivery function Direct exposure to senior management and strategic decision-making Workplace type: On-site Job location: Abu Dhabi , UAE Job type: Full-time Seniority level: Executive Show more Show less
