Technical Office Engineer

Job Summary The Technical Office Engineer is responsible for conducting site inspections, taking accurate measurements, preparing AutoCAD drawings, developing furniture layouts, and preparing quantity take-offs to support project planning, design, and execution. Key Responsibilities Conduct site visits and inspections to assess site conditions and verify project requirements. Take accurate site measurements and prepare detailed as-built drawings when required. Prepare and revise technical drawings using AutoCAD. Develop furniture layouts and space-planning drawings according to project requirements. Prepare detailed quantity take-offs for finishing, fit-out, furniture, and other project items. Calculate quantities and dimensions based on site measurements and approved drawings. Coordinate with design, execution, and project management teams to ensure drawing accuracy and project requirements are met. Review drawings and identify discrepancies between actual site conditions and design documents. Prepare and update technical documents, drawings, and quantity schedules. Follow up on drawing revisions and ensure the latest versions are shared with the concerned departments. Ensure accuracy and attention to detail in all measurements, drawings, and quantity calculations. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field. Previous experience in a technical office role, preferably in finishing, fit-out, or interior design projects. Good command of AutoCAD. Ability to conduct site surveys and take accurate measurements. Knowledge of furniture layouts, space planning, and quantity surveying. Strong attention to detail and analytical skills. Good communication and coordination skills. Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
