Company Description Golden Finty Electromechanical Works Contracting LLC is an MEP contractor based in Dubai, specializing in electrical, plumbing, and HVAC works for commercial fit-outs, offices, retail, and residential projects. The company handles complete electrical installations including distribution boards, cabling, lighting, and power, as well as DEWA approvals, DB schedules, and electrical drawings. Its services also cover plumbing and drainage, AC installation, ducting, ventilation, and full MEP fit-out works with testing and commissioning. Projects are managed end-to-end, from drawings and authority approvals through installation, testing, and final handover, using an in-house site team. Golden Finty also provides ongoing maintenance and repair services to ensure reliable building operations. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Electrician role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The Electrician will install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, including DBs, cabling, lighting, and power points for commercial, retail, office, and residential projects. Daily tasks include reading and interpreting electrical drawings, supporting DEWA-compliant installations, testing circuits and equipment, and ensuring all work meets safety and regulatory standards. The role involves troubleshooting electrical faults, performing preventive maintenance, coordinating with supervisors and other trades (plumbing, HVAC), and preparing basic reports on completed work. The Electrician will work as part of the site team, supporting project handovers and assisting with fit-out, commissioning, and occasional emergency repair call-outs. Qualifications Strong practical skills in electricity and electrical work, including installation of DBs, cabling, lighting, and power systems. Experience in maintenance & repair and troubleshooting of electrical equipment and building services. Foundational knowledge of electrical engineering principles and applicable local codes and safety standards. Relevant technical diploma, trade certificate, or vocational training in electrical work. Previous experience as an electrician in MEP, construction, or fit-out projects, preferably in the UAE. Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and basic schedules; familiarity with DEWA requirements is an advantage. Effective communication skills, ability to work safely in a team on active construction sites, and attention to detail.
