Chef – Egyptian Grills

Job Title: Chef – Egyptian Grill Cuisine. Location: Doha, Qatar Employment Type: Full-time We are seeking an experienced Chef to lead the kitchen of a new Egyptian grill restaurant in Doha. The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in authentic Egyptian charcoal grilling and traditional dishes. Preference will be given to the experts are residing in Doha with a valid Qatari ID, or others who can demonstrate strong, verifiable experience in Egyptian cuisine. Responsibilities Egyptian Grill Expertise: Prepare and cook authentic Egyptian charcoal-grilled dishes Traditional Breads: Specialize in preparing Egyptian breads. Station Management: Oversee daily grill station operations, ensuring proper preparation, cooking, and presentation of all grilled items. Quality & Consistency: Monitor grill temperatures and meat doneness to meet specific guest requests (e.g., rare, medium, well-done) and conduct regular taste tests to ensure quality and consistency. Kitchen Leadership: Train and supervise assistant chefs and kitchen helpers on new cooking techniques specific to Egyptian dishes. Inventory & Cost Control: Manage inventory levels, order supplies, and control portioning to minimize waste and ensure cost-effective operations. Hygiene & Safety: Ensure strict compliance with food safety standards, maintaining a clean and safe kitchen environment. Qualifications Experience: Minimum 5–10 years of professional kitchen experience, with a strong focus on Egyptian or Middle Eastern grilling. Culinary Skills: Expert knowledge of Egyptian cooking techniques, ingredients, and spice blends. Experience operating charcoal, gas, or wood-fired grills.
