Co-Founder & CTO — Haseel Eligibility: Arab Nationals Currently Residing in the UAE Only Build the Future of AI-Powered Financial Operations Haseel is looking for an ambitious technical co-founder to lead the technology behind an AI-native financial startup serving small businesses and freelancers across MENA. Important eligibility requirements: - Must be an Arab national. - Must currently reside in the United Arab Emirates (UAE). This is an early-stage co-founder opportunity, not a salaried position at this stage. We are looking for someone ready to build alongside the founder, take ownership of the technology, and grow with the company. About Haseel Haseel is building an AI-native financial operating system for small businesses, agencies, consultants, and freelancers across MENA. Businesses still rely on spreadsheets, messaging apps, accounting software, and manual follow-ups to manage invoices and collect payments. Haseel is building an intelligent financial employee that understands contracts, clients, invoices, payments, and cash flow — and proactively takes action on behalf of the business. We’re starting with one of the most painful problems businesses face: getting paid on time. Collections are only the starting point. Our long-term vision is to transform how businesses manage their financial operations through AI. The Opportunity As Co-Founder & CTO, you will own Haseel’s technical direction and work closely with the founder to turn the vision into a scalable product. This is not a traditional CTO position. You will help shape the product, architecture, technology strategy, and company from the ground up. What You’ll Do - Define and lead the technical vision and architecture. - Build and scale the core SaaS platform. - Design reliable backend systems and financial data infrastructure. - Develop AI-powered workflows, intelligent agents, and automation. - Integrate external platforms, payment providers, and financial APIs. - Establish security, testing, and deployment standards. - Make key technical and product decisions. - Build and lead the engineering team as the company grows. - Work closely with the founder on product strategy, fundraising, and company building. What We’re Looking For - Strong full-stack or backend engineering experience. - Experience building and launching real-world products. - Understanding of SaaS architecture, databases, and cloud infrastructure. - Hands-on experience with AI, LLMs, APIs, or agentic systems. - Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to build with limited resources. - A founder mindset, ownership, and a genuine commitment to building a company. FinTech and SaaS experience is a plus, but not required. We care more about what you have built and your ability to turn ambitious ideas into working products.
