Role Description : Job Vacancy: Civil Engineer Location: Amman, Jordan Required Experience: 3–4 Years Employment Type: Full-Time Job Description We are looking for a qualified and motivated Civil Engineer with 3–4 years of practical experience in construction works and project execution, particularly residential villa projects. The ideal candidate must have strong hands-on site experience, excellent knowledge of construction practices, and the ability to perform quantity surveying, prepare BOQs, and supervise construction activities from start to completion. Important: Candidates must have actual on-site experience in the execution and supervision of residential villa projects, not merely office-based experience in design, drafting, or quantity calculations. Key Responsibilities * Supervise and manage daily construction activities at project sites. * Oversee the execution of residential villa projects, from excavation and foundations through structural works and finishing stages. * Ensure that all construction works are carried out according to approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards. * Prepare and calculate quantities for structural, architectural, and finishing works. * Prepare, review, and update Bills of Quantities (BOQs). * Monitor project progress and ensure work is completed according to the project schedule. * Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, consultants, and site workers. * Review construction drawings and identify any technical discrepancies. * Measure and verify executed quantities and review subcontractors’ payment claims. * Monitor material requirements, site resources, and construction costs. * Prepare regular site progress reports and provide updates to management. * Identify and resolve technical and execution-related issues on site. Qualifications & Requirements * Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. * 3–4 years of proven professional experience in civil construction. * Practical, hands-on experience in the execution and supervision of residential villa projects is essential. * Strong knowledge of structural and finishing works. * Good experience in Quantity Surveying and BOQ preparation. * Ability to read, understand, and interpret architectural and structural drawings. * Good command of AutoCAD and Microsoft Excel. * Strong site supervision, coordination, and problem-solving skills. * Ability to work independently and manage site activities effectively. Preferred Qualifications * Candidates currently residing in Amman, Jordan are preferred. * Candidates who own a personal vehicle and can travel between project sites are preferred. * Previous experience working with construction and contracting companies is an advantage.
