Senior Accountant/Accounts Payable (Qatari)

A well-established organization in Qatar is looking for a motivated Senior Accountant/Accounts Payable Manager professional to join its Finance team. Key Responsibilities Process and verify supplier invoices, ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies Perform three-way matching (PO, goods receipt, invoice) and resolve discrepancies Prepare and execute payment runs in line with approved payment terms Reconcile supplier statements and maintain accurate vendor records Support month-end and year-end closing activities Coordinate with procurement, operations, and external vendors on payment queries Support internal and external audits with required documentation Contribute to process improvement and automation initiatives Requirements Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field 7 years of experience in Accounts Payable or general accounting, currently at Senior Specialist or Senior Accountant level Strong knowledge of AP processes, reconciliations, and accounting principles Hands-on experience with an ERP system (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Dynamics) Advanced Excel skills Strong attention to detail, with good communication skills in Arabic and English Professional certification (CPA, ACCA, CMA) is a plus What We Offer Competitive, grade-based compensation and benefits A structured, professional environment with clear growth pathways Training and development opportunities Show more Show less
