Finance Assistant

Job Title: Finance Assistant - Finance Department Location: Dubai, Business Bay, UAE We are looking for a Finance Assistant to join our growing team at DG Capital. You will work closely with our Finance Manager, supporting day-to-day accounting, month-end closing and tax compliance across the group. Do you live in Dubai? Is your English at a professional level? Do you have hands-on accounting experience in the UAE? Have you worked with QuickBooks before? Are you good at getting the details right? Are you available immediately? If you answered YES to all of the above, we would love to hear from you! What you will do Prepare sales invoices and receipts, and carry out daily bank reconciliations. Manage accounts payable (AP) and receivable (AR), and liaise with suppliers on invoices, payments and outstanding balances. Keep accounting records, supporting documents and financial trackers accurate and up to date. Assist with month-end closing, account reconciliations and financial reporting. Prepare audit schedules and supporting documents for external audits. Support VAT reconciliations, VAT return preparation and Corporate Tax compliance. What we are looking for A bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field. At least 1 year of accounting experience in the UAE is a must! Good working knowledge of UAE VAT and Corporate Tax requirements. Strong attention to detail and the ability to organise your workload, communicate clearly and meet deadlines. A proactive approach and the confidence to follow up on outstanding items and take ownership of your work. Experience in a professional accounting qualification such as ACCA or CA are an advantage.
