The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning, designing, and executing Indian weddings, with a strong specialization in wedding décor, creative styling, and event conceptualization. We are seeking someone who understands the grandeur, cultural significance, traditions, and intricate details of Indian weddings and has the creative vision to transform concepts into extraordinary wedding experiences. From luxurious mandap setups and elaborate floral installations to themed mehendi celebrations, vibrant sangeet nights, and elegant wedding receptions, the candidate should be capable of bringing unique wedding visions to life. Key Responsibilities Wedding Planning & Event Management - Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of Indian weddings, including multi-day wedding celebrations. - Manage wedding functions such as Mehendi, Haldi, Sangeet, Baraat, Wedding Ceremonies, and Receptions. - Understand Indian wedding traditions, cultural requirements, and regional wedding customs. - Coordinate with clients to understand their preferences, wedding themes, budgets, and expectations. - Oversee wedding timelines, logistics, vendor coordination, and on-ground event execution. Wedding Décor & Creative Conceptualization - Develop innovative wedding décor concepts, themes, mood boards, and creative presentations. - Design and conceptualize luxurious mandaps, wedding stages, entrance installations, floral arrangements, and venue transformations. - Demonstrate strong knowledge of traditional Indian, contemporary, royal, and luxury wedding décor styles. - Work closely with décor production teams, florists, fabricators, lighting specialists, and technical vendors. - Oversee décor installation, styling, finishing, and dismantling to ensure exceptional execution. - Recommend creative materials, colour palettes, floral combinations, lighting concepts, and decorative elements. - Translate client briefs and visual references into practical, aesthetically exceptional décor solutions. Vendor & Production Management - Source, negotiate, and coordinate with wedding décor suppliers, production teams, and specialist vendors. - Maintain relationships with wedding industry professionals, particularly within the Indian wedding market. - Manage vendor quotations, production budgets, procurement, and project timelines. - Supervise on-site teams to ensure quality standards and timely delivery. Client Management & Budgeting - Present wedding concepts, décor proposals, and creative solutions to clients. - Prepare detailed wedding budgets, décor cost estimates, and execution plans. - Ensure that every event meets client expectations while maintaining budget efficiency. - Provide exceptional client service throughout the planning and execution process. Candidate Requirements - Minimum 3–5 years of relevant experience in Indian wedding planning, wedding décor, or luxury wedding production. - Proven experience managing large-scale Indian weddings and multi-day celebrations. - Strong hands-on experience in wedding décor design, conceptualization, and execution is essential. - Excellent understanding of Indian wedding customs, traditions, and ceremonial requirements. - Experience working with wedding decorators, floral designers, fabricators, and production vendors. - Ability to develop creative concepts, mood boards, presentations, and décor proposals. - Strong knowledge of wedding production materials, installation techniques, and venue styling. - Excellent organizational, budgeting, negotiation, and project management skills. - Ability to manage multiple vendors and production teams under tight deadlines. - Strong communication and client presentation skills. - Previous experience in luxury or destination weddings will be a significant advantage. - Experience working in the Indian wedding industry and an established network of wedding vendors will be highly valued. - Candidates with experience in Qatar, the GCC, or the Indian luxury wedding market are encouraged to apply.
