Within this, the key responsibilities for this position are: To ensure the safe storage, handling, care, and use of chemicals to protect themselves and colleagues from incorrect or dangerous usage. To ensure the correct use of required personal protective equipment, including gloves, boots, goggles, masks, and hats. To empty and clean waste bins and designated areas according to the schedule and whenever necessary. To ensure that exit areas are kept free of obstacles at all times. To ensure that all dishwashing areas and equipment are kept clean at all times and to liaise with Engineering for maintenance requirements. To play an active role in supporting the hotel's energy conservation and environmental policies and practices. To ensure that all surfaces, areas, and operating equipment within the Kitchen Department are cleaned and maintained in accordance with the hotel's hygiene standards.
