Warehouse Officer - Construction Site

About Grow Construction Grow Construction is the contracting arm of Jadeer Group, building the group's projects across New Cairo, the New Administrative Capital and the North Coast. On every site, cost control starts in the store. The Role We are hiring a Warehouse Officer to run a Grow site store: receiving, storing, issuing and tracking every material, tool and piece of equipment so the site never stops for a shortage and every balance adds up. You will report to the Warehouse Manager and coordinate daily with the Project Manager and site engineers. Core requirement: at least 1 year of hands-on experience as a warehouse / store officer on a construction site, receiving, issuing and controlling construction materials. What You Will Own • Receiving: check steel, cement, aggregates, blocks, finishing and MEP materials against approved POs and delivery notes; coordinate inspection with the site engineer / QC; issue GRNs the same day. • Storage & stock control: organise the store and open yard (labelling, safe stacking, weather and theft protection, FIFO for cement, chemicals and adhesives); update stock cards and system balances daily; run weekly spot checks and monthly counts with the site accountant. • Issuing & consumption: issue only against approved material requests; record every issue by activity, area and subcontractor; report consumption vs. theoretical quantities and flag over-consumption early. • Tools & transfers: track tools and small equipment issued to foremen and subcontractors; handle returns and inter-site transfers with full documentation. • Planning & reporting: monitor minimum stock levels, raise material requests on time with the site team and Purchasing, and deliver daily / weekly store reports. • HSE: safe access, fire precautions and correct storage of hazardous materials. What You Bring • Bachelor's degree or technical diploma (Commerce, Engineering or related). • 2–3 years of warehouse / store experience, including at least 1 year as a warehouse officer on a construction site. • Solid knowledge of construction materials and their correct storage and handling. • Confident with store documents: GRNs, issue vouchers, material requests, transfer notes and stock cards. • MS Excel for stock sheets and reports (required); ERP / inventory system experience (Odoo, Oracle, SAP or similar) is a plus. • Strong Arabic reading and writing for records; basic English. • Willing to work full-time on site and move between Grow project sites as required. How You Will Be Measured • Stock count accuracy of 98% or higher • GRNs and issue vouchers recorded the same day • Zero material shortages that stop site work • Minimal material losses and unexplained variances • On-time store reports Location: Grow project site stores in New Cairo, the New Administrative Capital or the North Coast, as assigned.
