Operations Coordinator / Operations Specialist

Role Description The Owner will oversee the strategic direction and daily operations of Everything Social Work in a part-time, remote capacity. This includes designing and maintaining an inclusive community space, moderating discussions, and ensuring that members experience a respectful and supportive environment. The Owner will develop and curate professional development content, coordinate virtual events or discussions, and manage communication across digital platforms. Additional responsibilities may include building partnerships, promoting the community to potential members, and monitoring feedback to improve services and offerings. The role requires consistent online presence and the ability to respond to community needs in a timely, professional manner. Qualifications Background in social work or a related helping profession, with an understanding of the challenges and needs of social workers. Experience in online community management, including moderating discussions and fostering inclusive, respectful engagement. Strong communication skills, including clear writing, active listening, and the ability to provide empathetic, professional support. Ability to design and coordinate virtual events or professional development activities (e.g., webinars, discussion groups, resource sharing). Basic digital and social media skills to manage platforms, post updates, and engage members remotely. Organizational and time-management skills suitable for part-time, remote work, including prioritizing tasks and meeting commitments.
