Role Description - The English Teacher at India role through AIESEC in Egypt is a full-time, on-site position based in Cairo, focused on preparing and supporting participants for their teaching experience in India. - The teacher will deliver structured English lessons, including grammar, vocabulary, reading, writing, listening, and speaking, using engaging and learner-centered methods. - Daily tasks include planning lesson content, creating classroom materials, assessing learner progress, and providing constructive feedback to help learners improve. - The role also involves collaborating with AIESEC coordinators, participating in orientation and training sessions, and maintaining accurate records of attendance and performance. - The English Teacher is expected to foster an inclusive, respectful classroom environment and support learners in developing confidence in using English in academic and everyday contexts. Qualifications Strong English language proficiency, with excellent grammar, vocabulary, and pronunciation suitable for teaching learners at various levels. Experience in lesson planning, classroom management, and delivering interactive English lessons in group or one-on-one settings. Ability to design and use teaching materials, activities, and assessments that support different learning styles and levels. Effective communication, interpersonal skills, and cultural sensitivity to work with diverse learners and international teams. Organizational and time-management skills to handle full-time teaching duties, record-keeping, and coordination with AIESEC staff. Bachelor’s degree in Education, English, Linguistics, or a related field is preferred; TEFL/TESOL or similar teaching certification is an advantage. Previous experience in ESL/EFL teaching or language tutoring is beneficial, especially in cross-cultural or international contexts.
