Investment Banker – Job DescriptionPosition Overview We are seeking a motivated and analytical Investment Banker to provide financial advisory services, support corporate transactions, and identify investment opportunities for clients. The successful candidate will work with businesses, investors, and financial institutions on mergers and acquisitions, capital raising, financial restructuring, and strategic investment decisions. This role requires strong financial knowledge, analytical thinking, communication skills, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Advise corporate clients on mergers and acquisitions, business valuations, capital raising, and financial restructuring. Prepare financial models, valuation analyses, investment proposals, and transaction presentations. Conduct detailed financial research and evaluate company performance, industry trends, and market conditions. Assist clients in developing financing strategies through equity offerings, debt instruments, and other funding solutions. Analyze financial statements, cash flow projections, profitability, and potential investment risks. Support transaction execution, due diligence, negotiations, and preparation of relevant documentation. Develop and maintain relationships with corporate clients, investors, financial institutions, and business partners. Identify new business opportunities and contribute to client acquisition and relationship management. Prepare pitch books, reports, presentations, and recommendations for senior management and clients. Monitor financial markets, economic developments, and industry activity to identify emerging opportunities. Coordinate with legal, accounting, compliance, and other professional teams throughout transaction processes. Ensure transactions comply with applicable financial regulations, internal policies, and compliance requirements. Maintain accurate records and handle sensitive financial information with discretion. Support senior bankers in strategic planning, client meetings, and transaction negotiations. Qualifications and Skills Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field. Professional qualifications such as CFA, CPA, or other relevant financial certifications are an advantage. Experience in investment banking, corporate finance, financial analysis, or related fields is preferred. Strong understanding of financial modeling, company valuation, capital markets, and investment analysis. Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint, financial databases, and analytical tools. Excellent numerical, research, and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Ability to manage multiple projects, meet deadlines, and work effectively under pressure. High standards of professionalism, confidentiality, and ethical conduct.
