Cyber Security Manager (MSS)

Your new company You will be joining a rapidly growing international cybersecurity consulting and managed security services provider operating across the Middle East. Headquartered in Dubai's vibrant tech hub, this organization works directly with enterprise clients across the GCC to manage complex threat detection, incident response, and security operations. Your new role As the Security Manager, you will serve as the primary security point of contact and service delivery leader for key enterprise accounts across the region. Based in Dubai, you will combine hands-on technical cybersecurity management, incident coordination, and client relationship management to ensure continuous protection, clear executive reporting, and service excellence. Key responsibilities include: Client Engagement & Service Delivery: Serving as the single point of contact for customer security inquiries, operational escalations, routine reviews, and monthly/quarterly executive reporting. Incident Response & Coordination: Implementing incident playbooks, leading investigation communications, and coordinating real-time response efforts between internal teams and client stakeholders throughout the incident lifecycle. SOC & Operational Governance: Partnering closely with internal SOC Engineering, Purple Team, and Automation units to translate client requirements into tailored detection use cases, SOAR workflows, and alert-tuning strategies. Activity & Monitoring Alignment: Informing operational teams of planned client activities (penetration testing, maintenance, configuration changes) and ensuring appropriate oversight and log management. Reporting & Dashboards: Building technical and executive dashboards to translate complex threat metrics into actionable business risk insights. What you'll need to succeed Location & Residence: Must be currently residing in the UAE. Experience & Background: Solid experience in SOC operations, incident response, or Managed Security Services (MSSP) environments with direct responsibility for customer engagement and service delivery. SIEM & EDR Mastery: Practical experience with enterprise security platforms such as IBM QRadar, Splunk, Microsoft Sentinel, CrowdStrike, or Microsoft Defender. Operational Knowledge: Deep understanding of detection logic, log source management, incident response playbooks, and SOAR workflows. Communication & Presentation: Exceptional communication and presentation skills in English (Arabic is a strong advantage) with proven success presenting to both technical teams and senior executives. Leadership & Composure: Strong organizational, cross-functional coordination, and crisis management skills under high-pressure security scenarios.
