Presales Consultant – Storage

Location: UAE Reporting To: Vice President Employment Type: Full-Time About the Role We are looking for a Presales Consultant – Storage to support our Storage Solutions portfolio, including Everpure, SuperMicro, and VAST Data. The successful candidate will work closely with Sales, Partners, and Customers to design solutions, conduct demonstrations, support proof of concepts (POCs), and drive technical engagements throughout the sales cycle. Key Responsibilities Technical Presales & Solution Design Understand customer requirements and design storage solutions aligned to business needs. Prepare BOQs, solution architectures, technical proposals, and value propositions. Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations, and POCs. Support technical responses for RFIs, RFPs, and customer enquiries. Partner & Channel Enablement Build strong relationships with channel partners and resellers. Conduct partner enablement sessions, technical workshops, boot camps, and certification training. Support account mapping and pipeline development across partners and end customers. Vendor Management Stay current with vendor technologies, product roadmaps, and certifications. Work closely with vendors on technical updates, product positioning, and customer opportunities. Maintain relevant vendor certifications and accreditations. Market Intelligence & Reporting Collaborate with Category Managers and Business Heads on market trends and customer requirements. Provide technical feedback from the field to drive business growth and vendor alignment. Candidate Profile Experience 3-8 years of experience in Presales, Technical Consulting, or Technical Sales. Experience with Storage, Infrastructure, Data Center, or Enterprise Technology solutions. Strong knowledge of Storage Solutions, Servers, Virtualization, or Cloud Technologies. Experience working in the UAE market is preferred. Skills Excellent presentation and demonstration skills. Strong customer-facing and consultative selling approach. Experience with POCs, solution design, and technical documentation. Strong communication and stakeholder management skills. Ability to work independently and manage multiple opportunities. Willingness to travel across the UAE. Education Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. Relevant technical certifications are highly desirable.
