We are seeking a highly experienced Head of Banking capable of independently managing project finance, institutional fundraising, mortgage-backed financial transactions, investment portfolios and asset acquisition strategies. This position is designed for an accomplished banking professional with strong relationships across commercial banks, financial institutions, NBFCs, private credit funds, investment firms and institutional investors. Key Responsibilities 1. Banking Operations & Institutional Relationships - Establish and manage relationships with domestic and international banks, NBFCs, financial institutions and investment funds. - Develop banking partnerships, credit facilities, structured lending arrangements and institutional financing channels. - Negotiate financing terms, collateral requirements, interest structures and banking documentation. - Coordinate banking transactions, escrow arrangements and regulatory compliance. 2. Project Finance & Fundraising - Structure project financing transactions ranging from USD 5 million to USD 200 million. - Identify institutional investors, lenders, credit funds and financing partners. - Develop project finance proposals, financial models, investment memorandums and credit assessment reports. - Lead negotiations for debt financing, equity investment, refinancing and asset-backed credit facilities. 3. Asset Portfolio & Mortgage Management - Manage commercial, industrial, residential and distressed real estate asset portfolios. - Structure mortgage-backed financing against verified property assets. - Oversee asset valuations, loan-to-value ratios, collateral coverage and mortgage documentation. - Identify discounted asset acquisition opportunities and develop monetisation, leasing, refinancing and resale strategies. - Monitor portfolio performance, asset appreciation, rental income and investment risk. 4. Investment Portfolio Management - Develop investment strategies focused on asset-backed financial instruments and secured lending. - Supervise portfolio diversification, capital allocation, cash flow and risk-adjusted returns. - Evaluate investment opportunities through financial, legal and commercial due diligence. - Establish reporting systems for investment performance, asset security and capital utilisation. 5. Legal, Regulatory & Risk Management - Ensure compliance with applicable RBI, FEMA, AML/KYC and other banking regulations, including relevant UAE financial regulations. - Coordinate with Blackbull Law House for legal due diligence, mortgage documentation and transaction security. - Implement credit risk management, collateral monitoring and internal financial controls. - Ensure that banking and mortgage activities are conducted through appropriately licensed institutions. Mandatory Qualifications - Minimum 15 years of professional experience in banking, project finance, investment banking, mortgage lending or institutional asset management. - Demonstrated experience arranging substantial project finance or institutional credit transactions. - Strong understanding of secured lending, mortgage structures, collateral management and asset-backed investment. - Established professional relationships with banks, investment institutions, credit funds and financial decision-makers. - Ability to lead banking teams, negotiate financing arrangements and independently manage complex financial transactions. - MBA Finance, CA, CFA or equivalent professional qualifications preferred. - Experience in India–UAE cross-border financing will be a significant advantage. Performance Expectations The selected candidate will be expected to develop actionable banking partnerships, arrange viable financing solutions, manage asset-backed investment portfolios and contribute directly to Blackbull's mortgage finance expansion. Candidates must demonstrate actual transaction experience, verifiable achievements and the ability to execute financing arrangements—not merely advisory knowledge.
