Lead System Administrator

What you’ll do: Lead the design, implementation, administration, and support of enterprise IT infrastructure. Manage Windows Server and Linux environments, ensuring high availability and performance. Administer Microsoft technologies including Active Directory, Azure AD, Microsoft 365, Online, and Intune. Manage virtualization platforms such as VMware vSphere and Hyper-V. Oversee cloud infrastructure and services in Microsoft Azure and hybrid environments. Ensure timely patch management, system upgrades, and security updates. Implement and maintain backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity solutions. Monitor system health, capacity, performance, and availability using enterprise monitoring tools. Lead infrastructure projects, system migrations, and technology refresh initiatives. Establish and enforce IT policies, standards, and operational procedures. Manage identity and access controls, including MFA and privileged account management. Troubleshoot and resolve complex infrastructure and system-related issues. Coordinate with vendors and third-party service providers for support and maintenance. Mentor and provide technical leadership to system administrators and support staff. Maintain infrastructure documentation, architecture diagrams, and operational runbooks. Support cybersecurity initiatives, vulnerability remediation, and compliance requirements. Participate in on-call support and critical incident management when required.
