Role Description This full-time on-site role, based in Cairo, is for a Medical Scribe supporting doctors and pharmacies, requiring English proficiency at B2 level. The medical scribe will accurately document patient encounters, clinical notes, and prescription details in real time, following providers’ instructions and established templates. Responsibilities include reviewing and updating medical records, capturing histories, diagnoses, treatments, and medication orders, and ensuring documentation is clear, complete, and compliant with internal guidelines. The role involves close collaboration with healthcare professionals, verifying information when needed, and maintaining strict confidentiality of patient data. The medical scribe will also support workflow efficiency by organizing documentation, tracking follow-up actions, and escalating any discrepancies or urgent issues to the appropriate staff. Qualifications Strong English language skills (B2 level or higher), with clear written and spoken communication suitable for medical documentation. Ability to understand and accurately record medical terminology, diagnoses, treatments, and prescription information (prior exposure to healthcare, medical scribing, or pharmacy work is an advantage). High attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to work quickly and accurately in a structured, fast-paced environment. Competence in using computers, documentation tools, and office software; comfortable working with electronic records and digital workflows. Commitment to confidentiality, professionalism, and adherence to company policies and quality standards. Strong listening skills and the ability to follow instructions and standardized procedures while collaborating effectively with medical staff. Availability to work full time on-site in Cairo; flexibility for shift work may be required based on business needs. Relevant education in healthcare, life sciences, languages, or a related field is preferred but not mandatory; prior experience in customer service or call center environments is a plus.
