Role Description The Economic Development Specialist is a full-time, on-site role based in Qesm El Maadi, focused on supporting real estate-driven economic growth initiatives. Responsibilities include analyzing market trends, local economic indicators, and demographic data to identify opportunities for development and investment. The role involves collaborating with internal teams and external stakeholders to design and implement economic development strategies, urban improvement projects, and community-focused programs aligned with ERA’s objectives. The specialist will prepare reports, proposals, and presentations that guide decision-making, support business development efforts, and inform clients and partners. Day-to-day tasks also include monitoring project progress, coordinating with municipal and regulatory bodies when needed, and ensuring that initiatives align with local regulations and long-term sustainability goals. Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Economic Development and Economics to analyze market conditions, investment opportunities, and socioeconomic trends. Candidates should possess skills in Urban Planning to support community development projects, land-use analysis, and infrastructure-related initiatives. Candidates should possess solid Research skills to collect, interpret, and present quantitative and qualitative data for strategic planning. Candidates should possess Project Management skills to plan, coordinate, and oversee economic development initiatives from concept through implementation. Relevant qualifications such as a bachelor’s degree in Economics, Urban Planning, Public Policy, Business, or a related field; advanced degrees are an advantage. Strong analytical, problem-solving, and report-writing abilities, with proficiency in data analysis tools and office productivity software. Effective communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
