Job Description We are seeking a detail-oriented and professional Structural Inspector to join our team in Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. In this role, you will be responsible for site supervision and comprehensive structural inspections to ensure all construction work meets established building codes, safety standards, and project specifications. You will play a critical role in maintaining quality assurance and compliance throughout the construction process. Conduct thorough structural inspections at various construction phases to verify compliance with approved plans and building codes Supervise on-site construction activities and monitor contractor performance to ensure adherence to safety protocols and quality standards Document inspection findings, prepare detailed reports, and maintain comprehensive records of all site activities and observations Identify structural deficiencies, safety hazards, or non-compliance issues and communicate findings to project management and contractors Coordinate with engineering teams, contractors, and other stakeholders to resolve structural concerns and implement corrective actions Verify material quality, workmanship, and installation procedures for structural components Ensure compliance with UAE building regulations, local safety requirements, and project-specific standards Perform quality assurance checks on concrete, steel, and other structural elements Maintain organized documentation systems and prepare progress reports for project stakeholders Communicate effectively with site teams to provide guidance on structural requirements and inspection procedures Qualifications Proven experience in structural inspection and site supervision within the construction industry Strong knowledge of building codes, construction standards, and structural engineering principles Proficiency in preparing detailed inspection reports and technical documentation Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound judgments on structural issues Solid understanding of construction methodologies and building safety standards Strong organizational and time management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to coordinate effectively with diverse teams Additional Information At AECOM, we are committed to maintaining a secure and trustworthy recruitment process and take any fraudulent hiring activity seriously.
