Microsoft 365 Modern Work Expert

About the Role We are looking for a highly skilled Microsoft 365 Modern Work Expert with 5+ years of hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration, cloud identity, security and compliance, endpoint management, and enterprise migration projects. The ideal candidate will have deep technical expertise in designing, implementing, securing, and optimizing Microsoft 365 environments, with proven experience supporting enterprise-scale Microsoft 365 E3/E5/E7 environments. This role requires strong troubleshooting capabilities, solution architecture experience, and the ability to deliver secure, scalable, and efficient Microsoft cloud solutions. Key Responsibilities 1. Microsoft 365 Administration Administer and optimize Exchange Online, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive. Develop and maintain PowerShell scripts for automation, administration, and operational efficiency. Manage Microsoft 365 services, configurations, licensing, and advanced troubleshooting. 2. Identity and Access Management Design and manage Microsoft Entra ID, including hybrid identity and synchronization. Implement Single Sign-On (SSO), Multi-Factor Authentication (MFA), Conditional Access, and Privileged Identity Management (PIM). Configure identity governance, access reviews, and least-privilege access controls. 3. Security and Compliance Implement and manage Microsoft Defender XDR and Microsoft Purview solutions. Configure Data Loss Prevention (DLP), Information Protection, retention policies, and eDiscovery. Strengthen security posture through security hardening, compliance controls, and risk mitigation. 4. Endpoint Management Manage Microsoft Intune for Mobile Device Management (MDM), Mobile Application Management (MAM), and endpoint compliance. Configure Windows Autopilot, endpoint security policies, and device enrollment. Implement and maintain endpoint configuration, application deployment, and compliance policies. 5. Microsoft 365 Migration and Implementation Plan and execute Exchange hybrid and tenant-to-tenant migrations. Lead or support Microsoft Teams, SharePoint Online, and OneDrive migrations. Assess existing environments, develop migration strategies, and ensure minimal business disruption. 6. Solution Architecture and Technical Support Design and implement secure, scalable Microsoft 365 solutions aligned with business and technical requirements. Perform advanced troubleshooting, root-cause analysis, and performance optimization. Prepare technical documentation, architecture designs, and operational procedures. Provide expert-level technical support and guidance to enterprise customers and internal stakeholders. Required Qualifications and Experience Minimum 5 years of relevant hands-on experience in Microsoft 365 administration, implementation, security, and enterprise support. Strong practical expertise across Microsoft 365, Microsoft Entra ID, Microsoft Intune, security, compliance, and migration technologies. Proven experience working with enterprise Microsoft 365 E3/E5 environments, with relevant exposure to E7 capabilities where applicable. Strong PowerShell scripting and automation skills. Demonstrated experience delivering complex implementations, migrations, and security improvements. Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, documentation, and communication skills. Ability to work independently, manage technical projects, and engage effectively with enterprise customers. Mandatory Microsoft Certifications Candidates must hold at least three of the following certifications: Microsoft 365 Certified: Administrator Expert Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate (AZ-104) Microsoft Certified: Azure Security Engineer Associate (AZ-500) Microsoft Certified: Identity and Access Administrator Associate (SC-300) Candidates must also demonstrate substantial practical experience relevant to the certifications held. Preferred Qualifications Experience in Microsoft 365 enterprise architecture and security assessments. Experience with hybrid and cloud-only identity environments. Knowledge of Microsoft Zero Trust security principles and enterprise governance. Experience supporting large-scale Microsoft 365 deployments and complex customer environments.
