Role Description The Machine Operator is a full-time, on-site role based in Qatar, responsible for operating and monitoring production machinery in a safe and efficient manner. Day-to-day tasks include setting up machines according to specifications, performing routine checks, and adjusting controls to maintain quality and productivity standards. The role involves inspecting materials and finished products, reporting any defects or equipment issues, and collaborating with supervisors and maintenance teams to resolve problems quickly. The Machine Operator is also expected to follow safety procedures, keep work areas clean and organized, and complete basic documentation related to production output and equipment performance. This position requires consistent attention to detail and adherence to company policies and operational guidelines. Qualifications Ability to operate, monitor, and adjust industrial or manufacturing machinery, with basic mechanical aptitude and familiarity with production processes. Strong attention to detail for inspecting materials and finished products, ensuring quality standards, and identifying defects or irregularities. Understanding of workplace safety practices, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and adherence to health and safety regulations. Basic problem-solving skills for troubleshooting minor equipment issues and communicating technical problems to maintenance or supervision. Ability to read and follow work instructions, production schedules, and simple technical diagrams or specifications. Effective teamwork and communication skills to coordinate with supervisors, colleagues, and support departments on production goals. Willingness to work in shifts, stand for extended periods, and perform manual tasks in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Previous experience as a machine operator or in a similar production role is preferred; vocational or technical training in mechanics or industrial operations is an advantage.
