Role Description The AI and Robotics Instructor will design and deliver engaging lessons that introduce learners to foundational concepts in artificial intelligence, robotics, coding, and computational thinking. This full-time, on-site role in Alexandria, Egypt involves planning age-appropriate curricula, preparing instructional materials, and integrating hands-on projects using educational robotics kits and software tools. The instructor will guide students through building and programming simple robots, encourage problem-solving and creativity, and ensure safe, responsible use of technology. Responsibilities include assessing student progress, providing constructive feedback, maintaining accurate records, and collaborating with other teachers to embed AI and robotics into broader STEM and cross-curricular activities. The instructor will also participate in school events, clubs, and competitions that promote innovation and teamwork, while contributing to a positive, inclusive classroom environment. Qualifications Strong foundation in AI, robotics, and STEM education, including basic programming concepts and educational robotics platforms. Experience planning and delivering interactive lessons, with skills in curriculum design, classroom management, and learner-centered instruction. Ability to explain technical concepts in clear, age-appropriate language and to differentiate instruction for diverse learning needs. Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal skills to work effectively with students, families, and colleagues. Bachelor’s degree in Education, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; teaching certification or formal teaching experience is an advantage. Comfort working in an international, multilingual school environment; prior experience in British or French curricula is a plus.
