Finance Operations Specialist (GL)

Our Cairo team supports US clients across EHR, medical billing and practice management. We're growing, and we need a sharp finance professional to keep our receivables accurate and our cash coming in on time. Location: Cairo, Egypt (on-site) Shift: Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST (4:00 PM – 12:00 AM Cairo time) Reports to: Finance Operations Manager What you'll own Following up on outstanding invoices with US clients by phone and email, and collecting payments on time Recording, posting and verifying customer payments and AR transactions Investigating and resolving account discrepancies before they turn into problems Keeping the AR aging up to date, applying credits and clearing differences Invoicing and collecting ad-hoc requests promptly Running monthly balance confirmations with clients Supporting the general ledger with accurate, well-documented entries Working closely with Sales, Project Management and Finance to keep every account in good standing What we're looking for Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration At least 1 year of experience in accounting, AR or collections (US clients is a plus) Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting Strong Excel skills (lookups, pivot tables, reconciliations) Excellent written and spoken English, comfortable on calls with clients Trustworthy with confidential financial information Why Microwize Direct exposure to US clients and international finance operations Medical insurance Company transportation (shuttle service) Show more Show less
